5 Trends for Coachella 2019 Festival Fashion
Coachella 2019 is coming up and if you haven’t planned your outfits yet you are probably already behind (unless you’re going to weekend 2). But if you’re a weekend 1er like myself, now is the time! As the festival grows, it’s becoming harder to navigate through festival fashion and find the right outfit without coming off too basic.
What we’re going for this year is sleek, chic, and effortless - not flower wild child. No dramatic, overbearing outfits this year please. Flower crowns have long been over and I honestly think this year’s Coachella fashion trends are going to reside in the details.
So if you’re last-minute shopping for a Coachella outfit, these are the must-haves for this year:
Hair Clips and Accessories
I’m obsessed with these cute barrettes! I think these are going to have a huge presence this year. Nix those flowers and opt for these clips for a chic, minimal look.
Lace Bralettes
These are meant to be an under layer (or a top if it get’s too hot) for an overall dreamy vibe. I love these muted shades and the lace detail definitely gives it more of a festival feel.
Layered Jewelry
When it comes to Coachella fashion, you can never have too much jewelry, I love layering rings, necklaces and earrings for a glammed out vibe. This paired with an understated outfit can make all the difference.
White Sneakers
If you ask me my favorite pair of shoes I’ll always answer my white low-top Nikes. They are so comfy and go with literally everything (dresses, jeans, jumpers, etc.). While these shoes are super cute, you do run the risk of them being slightly ruined by the Indio desert, so maybe don’t wear your favorite pair, but you could wear your second favorite pair, you know? (For instance, I love these Fila low tops).
Trendy Sunglasses
Firstly you need sunglasses out of necessity. I’ve been to Coachella like five times and trust me, you’ll need shades. (Maybe two pairs, maybe five idk.) I really think neutral tones will be in this festival season for an overall warm aesthetic.
