3 Ways to Style Your Loungewear

So some of you by now know that I’m v into my sweatpants collection. My boyfriend was laughing at me earlier this month because he was looking at my closet full of like 10 sweaters and matching sweatpants haha. But you know, when in quarantine, do as the quarantinians do. And that means upping my loungewear game.

So in case you’re like me and getting bored of wearing your sweatpants the same all of the time, here’s some simple ways you can mix it up (and if you want the TLDR version, I have a styling video at the bottom of this post):

Tuck Your Sweater Into Your Bra

It sounds silly, but it totally works to give it a more cropped, loose feel. That’s what I did in the first photo with the white set. Here I tucked it in only in the front for a relaxed fit. I got this set from Boohoo as well but it’s sold out in beige and white. Here are some similar options for the sweater and sweatpants.

Tie Your Shirt & Flip the Waistband

So simple and easy! I love this outfit because everyone most likely has a plain white tee and some grey sweatpants laying around. Just tie the shirt in front for a cropped feel and flip the waistband (even better if there’s a design), and you’ve got a sporty but casual look.

Add a Chic Jacket

And last but not least, adding a long duster or trench makes any sweatpants look instantly chic. This one’s from Zara and I got it a loong time ago, but I linked a similar one! I honestly feel like any long brown or neutral jacket will work though, it’s just to give your outfit some more dimension.

I go into more detail about styling these in my video below if you want to see me awkwardly tucking in my sweater haha.
