WFH in Sweatpants Until Further Notice

Hi blog fam,

It’s been a long week. Actually a long start to 2020. There are so many changes that have happened in my life and others and I know so many of us have been hugely affected by this crisis.

I personally have undergone through some drastic changes that I wasn’t expecting, and although it’s still a scary time, I’m grateful and hopeful for the support system I have that include my family, my friends, and my loving boyfriend. I recently got let go from my dream job and due to the current economic climate. It wasn’t a total surprise, although it’s still heartbreaking.

With that being said I’m trying to turn this into a positive situation. I have my blog and my book club that I can dedicate full-time to until I find something more steady. I freelanced before so that’s also an option I’m looking into. I’m keeping my head up and I know I’m still luckier than most who are in this situation.

During this time, I’m going to continue more than ever to post content. (I mean I’m full-time now right? haha)

We’re bored from our homes, and I want to be a source of inspiration. Plus, I’ll go stir crazy if I’m not creating something or being proactive. I’m with you, I’m suffering too, but we can also have some fun and do things to get our mind off of this crisis. I’m not going anywhere!
