Fall in November is always kind of awkward in Los Angeles. It’s cold in the mornings, like foggy and need-an-overcoat-kind-of-cold. Then it’s still 80 or 90 degrees later on in the afternoon.

I know it sounds like I’m complaining but I’m not, it’s just always a weird time for us natives. Honestly wearing a white button down and pants is a nice go-to staple during this time. It’s not quite hot enough to wear shorts or a cami, but it’s acceptable to wear something lightweight with a long sleeve.

This is what I practically wear to work every other day, since neutrals are kind of my vibe. But this is a cool, casual look and a better alternative than wearing a knit. I love sweaters but during this time of year it sucks when lunchtime breaks and you’re sweating and can’t take your top layer off. Another way I would style this look is also with boots if I’m feeling extra fall-y. For this look, I’d probably opt for white ones like these.

Which reminds me, note to self: need to go boot shopping haha. But I will say these flats from Zara are honestly my fave right now, I’m wearing them constantly. They take a little time to break in (on the heel part) but other than that are SO comfy.
