The three-day weekend is coming up and I have big plans.

Those plans mostly involve staying in, getting enough sleep, and knocking out some much needed home projects in my sweats. I’m stoked. (Actually though lol).

I didn’t make any grand plans this upcoming weekend (mostly because I forgot we had Memorial Day off), but also because for once I just wanted a weekend to catch up on my never-ending to do list. That list comprises of organizing my bills, re-doing our apartment, getting our dog groomed, catching up on my blog, book club duties, and the list goes on. Sometimes you need a staycation. You know what I mean?

Either way, that doesn’t mean you can’t still dress up or wear something cute. And I’ve got three inspirational outfits for you no matter what you’re doing:

The A-Lister

You’re probably going to a cool party, for sure going to be at the beach sometime this weekend — drinking & eating fabulous dinners are both definitely on the agenda. You’re looking for an outfit that’s trendy and a little showyyy (now that it’s finally getting warm).

The Brunch Babe

You might not be at the parties but you’re always down for a good brunch. You want to dress breezy and chic, but a little understated for your blasé I’ll-just-have-one-mimosa lifestyle. Wear a cute skirt or dress for a perfectly undone look.

The Homebody

You’ve got no plans because you’re a loser. (Join the club, we’re getting t-shirts made). Jk, you’re home by choice because you just want to chill, or not be around a ton of people, and you’re planning to watch HGTV way into the wee hours of the night indulging on matcha ice cream. (Same). Here’s some outfit choices for your stress-free time at home.

So admittedly I did make reservations for brunch at Mardi in WeHo, just to enjoy a cocktail and some food and celebrate not working on a Monday haha. But other than that, I’ve got a hot date with my planner. I guess this makes me the brunch homebody?

In any case, hope whatever you’re doing, you’re having a FANTASTIC weekend.

Tell me all about it sometime - I’ll be here.

love,

Sara
