Tour of my minimal dream home

We are officially moved in!!!

Well, technically, we moved into our house in the summer, but it didn’t really feel official because we had no furniture and the place was filled with boxes. But now that it’s five months later, I can finally show you all a tour of my home!

I wouldn’t say it’s 100% complete yettt, just because:

  • There’s not a ton of wall decor, plants, and homey items (yes I am going for that minimal vibe, but it is v minimal right now mostly just due to lack of stuff).

  • Our patio isn’t even included in this tour because all we’ve done is the concrete, which is pretty pricey in itself. I’ll work on a patio reveal soon, but honestly, since it’s winter it hasn’t been much of a priority.

  • I’m planning to add a larger bookshelf to my office and organize my pile of books. Our individual rooms have really suffered the most because we’ve prioritized the downstairs and shared areas.

  • We’re still missing nightstands, but I have my eye on these babies.

  • Our walk-in and my office closet are currently a hot mess. We’re planning to do custom build outs so I’ll show you guys that some time later - but for now it’s on the back burner.

But honestly, buying a home, and then filling a home — it all takes time. I’m super grateful that we were even able to purchase a home in this crazy market. And I absolutely love our home.

FYI the first half of the video shows the model home & construction, NOT our actual home.
