Sustainable essentials for your summer picnic
Out of the Woods Iconic Shopper in Sahara
Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by Out of the Woods.
Now that it’s mid-July, there’s nothing I want to do more than enjoy a nice summery picnic for two. Lately I’ve been enjoying more of a slow, soft girl lifestyle. Slow mornings, meaningful dates, and more time outside in nature. With this new mindset, I planned a cute picnic date for my fiancé and me this past weekend.
In order to keep all of our items nice and cool, we used Out of the Woods shoppers and coolers in order to keep everything insulated. We went to the Farmer’s Market earlier and packed ourselves some fresh fruit and cheese to snack on. We used the Iconic Shopper for most of our haul, a medium-weight tote which was able to hold more than enough (all of our food items + flowers). We also used the Walrus Cooler to keep everything nice and fresh before we were ready to eat. And to top everything off, we packed some cool white white in the Wine & Spirits Valet in Sahara.
I just discovered Out of the Woods but I am SUCH a fan of their items. Their mission is to help reduce the negative impact on the environment by developing lasting products made of better materials. Their coolers are made with Supernatural Paper, which is made from responsibly sourced tree cellulose, bonded to make it a washable, durable, and sustainable alternative to leather.
I love that they are committed to making a difference by providing sustainable and practical products. Another aspect of living slowly is by consuming slowly (buying thoughtfully). I’m working on implementing this more with my shopping habits, and brands like Out of the Woods make it easy.
Overall I felt that their shoppers are cute, minimal, and functional. I love that they come in a brown, burlap color that has a really nice earthy tone. They also kept our items cool for hours and the coolers were completely leak proof. I’m eager to use these items over and over again when we go to the beach or anywhere else we’ll need portable coolers for.
