Last Trend of Summer: Backless Tops

I’m one of those people who definitely doesn’t want to see summer end, even if this has been an *~ interesting ~ summer. I did want to share one of the trends I hopped on this season, even though I think this one will actually stick around for a while: backless tops.

The one I’m wearing here is from Urban Outfitters, and it’s become a staple of my wardrobe. The other day I was going through my wardrobe and picking out some clothes to sell and donate, and I realized I really gravitated towards the pieces in my closet that showed off my back. And then I realized I don’t have many backless pieces haha so I decided to change that.

I got this top in white and also black (both from UO) and also started looking for some other backless options shops like Trois the Label, Ozma of California and so on. I realized that having backless tops makes any outfit instantly pop - and even better you don’t have to face the camera to get a good picture (my favorite kind of photo op).
